Anima changes - 1 Oct 2025

Following changes in our NHS contract, with effect from 1st October, patients will be able to submit ROUTINE and ADMIN requests via Anima, once the system has stopped accepting on the day medical requests due to safety limits. Patients will acknowledge that they understand their request may not receive a response for up to 72 hours, although they will receive an acceptance message. Any request received that is not routine will be signposted to NHS 111, Pharmacy First or A&E. This means that patients can still contact us via Anima with non urgent or admin queries. The system will be open from 8am to 6pm every working day. Please note you can still contact us by telephone or in person. All medical requests will be put through the Anima system and triaged by a clinician before an appointment is offered.
