On Tuesday 15th June Morthen Road Group Practice is changing its computer system
For the week immediately before and the week following the change, i.e. between Monday 7th June to Friday 18th June, there will be some implications for our patients:
New patient registration: we will not be able to register new patients between 31st May to Friday 11th June.
GP and Nursing team appointments: we will have fewer GP and Nursing team appointments for the two week period. We will seek to save the appointments for more urgent clinical matters rather than for more routine appointments.
Repeat Prescriptions: we will not be able to issue repeat prescriptions between 7th June and 11th June. If your prescription is due between these dates we will look to issue your renewal prescription a week or so early.
Online appointments and online prescriptions: after 7th June patients will not be able to use their current sign-ons to arrange online appointments, online prescriptions or view their medical records. If you do not already have the Rotherham Health app, we advise you to sign up to this for access to online appointments, online prescriptions and viewing medical records as Patient Access will no longer be available once we have chnaged systems.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during this period but please bear with us!
We operate from three sites in total, as detailed below. Registered patients are welcome to attend at whichever site is most convenient for them. However please note that there are some differences in the way we can provide services at the differing sites. It is helpful to avoid confusion if you always explain to the reception staff which site you normally attend when making appointments.
