Missed Appointments Posted or Updated on 22 Apr 2025

In the month of JUNE, the following appointments were missed:

GP & ANP consultations: 39!  That's 9.5 hours of GP & ANP time wasted.

Nursing team consultations: 67!  That's 14 hours of Nursing staff time wasted.

Other staff consultations: 17!  That's 4.5 hours of other staff time wasted.

We know people forget things, cancelling GP appointments being one of them. Please remember to cancel your consultation if you don’t need it and give us as much notice as possible so that it can be offered to someone else.

There is a large demand for consultations at the practice and these appointment's could have been used by another patient if the practice had been informed that it was no longer required.

The practice has a policy on patients not attending appointments which in extreme cases can result in the patient being removed from our practice list. Patients who do not attend will be sent a letter explaining this.
