Missed Appointments Posted or Updated on 1 Mar 2024

In the month of FEBRUARY, the following appointments were missed:

GP appointments – 44!  That's 11.5 hours of GP time wasted.

Nursing team appointments – 98!  That's 27.5 hours of Nursing staff time wasted.

Other staff appointments - 26!  That's 8 hours of other staff time wasted.

We know people forget things, cancelling GP appointments being one of them. Please remember to cancel your appointment if you don’t need it and give us as much notice as possible so that it can be offered to someone else.

There is a large demand on appointments at the practice and these appointment's could have been used by another patient if the practice had been informed that the appointment is no longer required.

The practice has a policy on patients not attending appointments which in extreme cases can result in the patient being removed from our practice list. Patients not attending appointments will be sent a letter explaining this.
